Bumble and bumble surf spray – a cult classic and a firm favourite that’s been around for years, I’ve been through a couple of bottle of this stuff now and still love it a lot so thought it was about time to give the shampoo and conditioner a try too. I recently went to pick up another bottle when I saw there was an gift set available which included the travel sized versions, perfect for when you want to try them out before spending the money on the full sized.
I took the shampoo and conditioner away with me recently and really like them, I did let my hair air dry after washing and although my hair does have a natural wave when I leave it to dry naturally, these products did help to add some more texture. Also a little goes a long way with these products and I really didn’t need to use much which is a bonus and means I could actually take the travel size away with me for quite a few days. I also really like how light these felt on the hair and I was able to get an extra day out of it before needing to wash again, which is always a plus!
I tend to straighten my hair most days but after using these I decided to let my natural wave come through by spraying some of the Surf Spray through my locks to try and add some more texture and body. I found that the Surf Spray is most effective when I use it on damp hair and then scrunch it up a bit as it’s drying, this certainly helped to give my hair some more texture. I also then added a bit more into my dry hair the day after and twisted a few strands of hair to add some more waves and refresh it a bit. The only thing I would say is again, a little goes a long way and I don’t add too much into my hair as it can add some serious volume so that is something to remember!
Overall I am really impressed with these products, I have always and will always love the Surf Spray so know I’ll keep repurchasing that. Would I buy the full size of the shampoo and conditioner? I think so, I like that a little goes a long way and I think I’ll get a lot of use out of this for summer! Have you tried anything from this range?
