Lip Colours Perfect for Everyday wear
When it comes to lip products, I definitely have a favourite colour and thats a pinky neutral hue, something that looks nice and natural on the lip. I haven’t quite mastered being able to wear bright reds and the in your face pinks just yet. I thought I’d talk through some of my favourite’s and ones that I normally keep in my handbag with me so I can throw them on whilst I’m out and about.
Nars Dolce Vita lipstick and lip pencil
I own this in the lipstick and the velvet matte pencil and love both, the lipstick is a sheer wash of colour but does add a little something to the lips where as the lip pencil packs more of a punch. Both are great options for throwing in my bag and applying on the go though as there’s no fuss needed both look great. The lip pencil will last longer than the lipstick but both are just as easy to reapply and great to carry around for those times you need a little something.
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk
This is one of the most well known and loved lip pencils from CT and for good reason as the colour is just so wearable. It suits so many different people and is one of those colours that you can just rely on. I am also super excited after seeing she’s also released this in a now lip stick form (yayyyyy!) I can’t wait to get my hands on it as this lip pencil is such a great colour. The staying power of this lip pencil really impresses me as I find unless I’ve eaten I don’t often have to reapply! Compared to other lip liners, these can be a little on the pricier side but I’d honestly say it’s worth it as everything about it is so nice and well worth splurging on a little.
Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liners
I own these lip liners in a few colours but these two are my favourites and great for everyday wear. East End Snob, the pinker of the two shades, is such a pretty colour and looks so nice worn alone but smudged into the lips a little. The other shade Addiction is a darker shade, not as dark as it appears in the photo, but looks nice really worked into the lips and worn as more of a stain. For the price I’d say these are great value for money and so far have lasted me quite a while, I’d really recommend trying these if you haven’t!
