I love reading/watching monthly favourites, and often come away with plenty of products added to my shopping list. I want to share some of my favourite products too, however I don’t really mix what I use month to month – unless something new really impresses me. So I thought I’d start a mini series on my blog, Product of the Month – where I’ll put the spotlight on one product/item from the month that really impressed me or I just couldn’t imagine not using. This month it’s the Pixi Glow Tonic that has earned the top spot.
Now I’m sure you’ll all quite familiar with this product as it’s a firm favourite with many with so many people. I honestly can’t imagine not using this product and ever since I first bought it, I’m sure I’ve used it most days! Skincare is one of my favourite things to try out and the Pixi Glow Tonic has really impressed me.
Pixi Glow Tonic
What’s so good about it
It’s a really gentle exfoliator that’s really easy to use and just simply works. It helps my skin to heal after I’ve suffered with any breakouts. My skin also has a nice ‘glow’ after using it and it helps to help brighten things up a bit, which helps if my skin is having a dull day. It helps other products to work a little bit better and my skin feels so soft afterwards.
How often do I use it
Every day – mostly in the evenings but sometimes I’ll also use it in the mornings too depends on my skin and also what cleanser I’ve used. If I’ve used my Oskia cleanser then I don’t tend to use it as my skin doesn’t really need it. However some mornings if my skin is looking a little dull then I’ll use it and I find it does make a difference.
How much does it cost
It’s £18 for 250ml, it’s also available in smaller sizes which can be handy for going away/ travelling, I think it’s about £10 for 100ml. I think it’s actually well priced considering how much product you get and how long it can last you!
How long does it last
A 250ml bottle will normally last me around maybe 2-3 months I think. Depends on how often and how much I’m using ect. I normally buy them when it’s on offer so don’t ever run out of it.
Have I repurchased
Yes, a few times. This is my fourth bottle now – and a staple in my skincare routine (and I’ve actually just ordered another one)
Where to purchase
I normally buy mine from Marks and Spencer’s as they sometimes run offers such as 20% off but you can also find it from sites such Cult beauty, Asos & beauty bay. Always worth looking out for a discount code or any offers!
Any similar/alternative products
The most similar product I’ve tried is the First Aid Beauty pads, which I also love and sometimes use in the mornings. Both are a similar price but I feel I get more for my money a little with the Pixi Glow Tonic as you only get 60 pads in the FAB pack. Although the pre soaked First aid beauty pads are handy!
Have you tried Pixi glow tonic? What are your thoughts!
