I’ve been loving the look of boyfriend jeans recently and although I’m not ready to let go of my beloved skinny jeans all together just yet I have been tempted to switch up my style a bit for Spring/ Summer.
I bought myself a pair of boyfriend jeans last Summer and have to admit they have spent most their time sat in my wardrobe unloved, mostly because I wasn’t really sure on how to style them. Lately I’ve been obsessed with Pinterest so thought it would be a great time to finally get some inspiration on how to style some boyfriend jeans ready for Spring. The looks above are just some of the ones I found that really caught my eye and have given me some ideas on what I can pair mine with. Worn with a simple striped top, casual tee or even a jumper I think these jeans could be so easily worn day to day.
There are a range of different boyfriend style jeans available on the high street at the moment with some being a true boyfriend fit and some being on the slimmer side which might be a better option if you’re not quite ready (like me) to fully let go of the skinny jean. The ones I picked up last summer were from River Island and are a darker denim which I think might be more suitable for evenings or even a smarter style so I would quite like to get my hands on a lighter denim with a bit more distressed detail so they’re a bit more casual. Below are some high street finds that I have my eye on, I already have the Topshop pair sat in my basket waiting for me although Zara, H&M and Hollister have some really nice styles too!
